Head of Partnerships

Overall purpose:

To develop, implement and manage a partnership programme that supports the delivery of our retail, healthcare, marketplaces and SME strategies and accelerates GS1 UK’s influence and the adoption of its standards and services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance the GS1 UK partner programme, including its structure, value proposition and pricing
  • Agree and implement the framework for training, accreditation and certification
  • Meet the KPIs for partner membership, maximising revenue opportunities
  • Facilitate partner acquisition and engagement in line with the sector Industry Engagement strategies and priorities
  • Develop the programme of partner marketing and events to ensure that partners are an active and connected part of the GS1 UK community
  • Drive the adoption of GS1 standards and monitor compliance in line with the conditions of partner programme membership
  • Work with GS1 globally to share best practice and ensure alignment between territories
  • Undertake any other duties or projects as requested

Person specification:

Background and experience

  • Experience of developing and leading partner programmes
  • Experience of working in consulting
  • Knowledge and experience of working in the UK healthcare market
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally and in a matrix organisation
  • Experience of developing marketing programmes and compelling value propositions
  • Experience of shaping and launching new programmes

  • Knowledge of GS1 system and standards
  • Experience in the retail sector
  • A good understanding of systems and technologies used in the supply chain, retail and healthcare
