Helping small businesses sell online
95% of our members are small businesses. Our small & medium business team are here to listen to and help small businesses grow even more. Whether you are selling to large retailers on Britain’s high streets, online marketplaces, to the NHS or even exporting to other international markets.
Our standards are key to the success of any small business to upscale activities for growth. We are ready to help so that you can uniquely identify things and allow you to better manage your product data, so that you can trade seamlessly between businesses.
With our data services together with training, education and partnerships providing business acceleration support services, we are uniquely positioned to help you grow your visibility with trading partners and grow your industry connections to open business opportunities in the UK and other countries.
As a venture growth builder and commercial specialist, I am responsible for leading the small business growth accelerator, partnerships and community services to support passionate artisans, innovators, value creators and growth implementors who are seeking to upscale business for success.
Prior, I led the UK business acceleration scaleup services for a leading pan-European independent body of the European Commission, enabling digital transformation across industry sectors in commercialising innovations to market and working with several growth ventures for access-to-market, international soft-landing and access-to-finance, including entrepreneurship education.
I mentor several business founders and love working with passionate entrepreneurs who have disruptive ideas and persistent in applying fresh ways to make things happen for growth and impact.
Outside of work, I love to travel, read and a philanthropist to several international social impact ventures supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals in making a difference to disenfranchised and marginalised communities, particularly supporting maternal & child, education and inclusion.
I am responsible for engaging with the small and medium business community to increase awareness of GS1 standards being key to drive business growth, provide pathways to open connections to potential trading opportunities and access to community support partnerships.
Previously, I worked for a non-profit government employment and education organisation developing start-ups and creating opportunities within small businesses. With a commercial sales background, I recently worked as a management consultant engaged with several cross-sector small businesses, following a retail commercial career at Mondelez UK and Lindt and Sprüngli UK.
My interests include cars, scrabble and gymnastics.
